Dr. Iftekhar Mannan was born in Tehran, Iran in 1978. His parents were scientists from Bangladesh working in Iran. He studied at St. Joseph High School and Dhaka College in Dhaka. He completed MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College in 2003. He trained in Dhaka Medical College Hospital in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery until 2010.
